Stanley Black & Decker is a global leader in tools, security and industrial solutions. With a portfolio of over 20 leading brands, the business needed a partner to help unify their digital presence for some of its key brands to deliver improved customer experience and greater operational efficiency.
We developed a ‘white label’ web platform that would work across all markets and be adopted by multiple brands.
I led the team through the discovery phase by undertaking stakeholder interviews, gathering user and business requirements.
The process involved Ideating, designing and refining features for the website. Delivered a design system with a comprehensive pattern library of design elements for DEWALT, Craftsman and Lenox.
Creating a Design System helped unify Stanley Black & Decker’s portfolio of brands with a consistent design language. Ultimately saving cost for the business.
The new websites covered more than 20 global markets, and used a shared measurement framework and centralised analytics and reporting.
